It contains 5 games ( half life 2-episode one and two, team fortress and Portal) and is worth the money for Portal alone, which is one of the most inventive and clever games available for the 360.ĥ)Gears of War. You can also send challenges to your friends when they’re offline for them to pick up later.Ĥ)The Orange Box.This may come in at over £10 in most pre-owned places due to its rarity but is well worth buying if you manage to find a copy. This is a racing game that is great fun! Its gaming and customisation plays like a Need for Speed game but it features power ups, kind of like those found in Mario Kart which change the dynamic of the game and make races much more interesting than your usual racer. This is another game that clocks in at over 30 hours.ģ)Blur. The missions are fun and it has a learning curve, it’s also one of a few games that features a unique pathway, so your actions directly affect the gameplay and your decisions and characters carry over to the next game in the series.
ME:2 is my favourite but to get the full story, you need to play them in order. Whilst you can pick up the trilogy now for the price of a new game (£40 in English) you can search around and pick up the games singly for less.
Operation Anchorage is probably my favourite bit of DLC for any game, ever as its so much fun to play! Fallout 3 also features a unique combat system and clocks in at over 30 hours of gameplay and you can have a companion dog if you know where to look!Ģ)Mass Effect. A great game with some inventive enemies and weapons, and it’s reasonably cheap now too with a wealth of DLC available. If you’re new to the 360 and looking to pick up some decent games, these can all be picked up for a few pounds if you’re looking at the pre- owned section of your local games store and are all worth your time and money.
